RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The flu is not finished yet as North Carolina health officials report four more people have died of the illness.
That brings the death toll this season to nearly 200.
Media outlets report that 197 people have now died of flu-related illnesses in the state. The four deaths last week represented the sixth straight week that the number of fatalities declined.
Most of the deaths have been among the elderly, with 164 people who were 65 and older dying of the flu this season.
State health officials are predicting the season should end around the end of this month.
