Arden - Last night the search for Tommy Bryson ended after his body was found in a corn field in Arden Sunday night.

Bryson was last seen Wednesday,  on his own surveillance camera, showing him driving away from his home. He was on his way to pick up a relative and never arrived.

"We're certainly saddened and had not happy with the way it is, but we're bringing that kind of closure to a family that's really been through a tremendous amount over the last week," said Sheriff Charles McDonald in a news conference on Sunday.

Phillip Stroupe II was jailed after he was captured in Bryson' s truck. He will be charged with Brysons death.

An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.

*Editor's Note: A criminal charge is an accusation, by law, a person accused of a crime is innocent until proven in a court of law.
