Madison County Man Charged with Sex Offense with a child

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about a sexual assault involving a child under the age of nine. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Jerry Clark Gunter. Madison County Sheriff’s Office Detectives interviewed Jerry about the sexual assault. Jerry confessed to sexually assaulting the child. Jerry is charged with two counts of Statutory Sex Offense with a child.
