Hendersonville -- January 19, 2021 Hendersonville Police Department Investigating Arson

At approximately 3:15 am on January 19, 2022, Hendersonville Police received a call to assist the Hendersonville Fire Department with a structure fire at 104 1st Avenue E. The building contains several offices and an apartment. The apartment was occupied at the time and the individual was able to escape the building unharmed.
Two suspects wearing dark clothing were captured on video in the area at the time of the fire. The incident is being investigated as an arson and detectives are requesting residents and merchants in the downtown area to submit camera footage to Detective Zeff Childress to assist in the investigation.
