FBI Seeks Information in Gilroy Shooting

The FBI and the Gilroy Police Department are seeking information regarding the July 28, 2019 shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, California.

If you have investigative information to share regarding this case, please contact the Gilroy Police Department at (408) 846-0583.

If you have photos or videos pertaining to the shooting or immediately before or after the shooting that could help law enforcement, please submit them at www.fbi.gov/gilroy.

If You’re a Victim

Crimes can have a devastating effect on victims and their families who may need assistance coping with the impact. Providing information and assistance to victims of the shooting is an important part of our work.

The FBI’s Victim Services Division provides emergency assistance to victims of mass violence crimes due to its extensive experience in responding to victims of these crimes.

If you were injured in or witnessed the shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, you may be eligible for certain services and rights. Additionally, if you left behind any personal items at the scene, the FBI will work to return those items to you. More information, including a victim questionnaire, is available at
