FL Man: 18 Months for Pelosi, AOC and Foxx Death Threats

News -- April 3, 2021: A judge in Florida sentenced a man to 18 months in prison on Friday for threatening
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as well as Illinois prosecutor Kim Foxx.

Paul Vernon Hoeffer, 60, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, had pleaded guilty in January for making a series of menacing phone calls to the three Democratic women between 2019 and 2020.

According to court filings, he threatened to "rattle" Pelosi's head with bullets if she didn't resign. In another call, he threatened to cut her head off in a "jihadist-style" fashion.

Hoeffer also allegedly threatened to shoot Ocasio-Cortez and Foxx.
