Asheville Police Arrest Man for Stabbing Victim with Pen

Asheville -- February 24, 2022: An Asheville man was charged with stabbing another man in the face and neck with a pen,

according to a Febuary 22, 2022 press release by the Asheville Police Department .

The incident occurred at a business location on Tunnel Road the morning of February 18, 2022.
After an investigation, police issued warrants for Jared A. Elliott with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury. 

Elliott was found later that day, arrested and transported to the Buncombe County Detention Center. A secured bond is set for $20,000.

Bunombe County EMS and the Asheville Fire Department treated the victim, who suffered deep lacerations and a bloody nose.
