News -- August 25, 2022: Despite documents demonstrating that her own business had $183,504 in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans cancelled in 2020,

Marjorie Taylor Greene called Biden's student loan forgiveness "completely unfair."

In an interview on the US conservative news channel Newsmax TV, Green spoke out against the student loan forgiveness
program.
In order to fulfill a campaign pledge and provide relief to millions of borrowers, the Biden administration announced plans on Wednesday to cancel $10,000 of student debt for the majority of debtors. Anyone living in the US and making less than $125,000 per year will be qualified for the loan cancellation.

"There should not be a system in place that allows them and encourages them to pile up massive debt in these big colleges and universities." Greene said.

Several Republican congressmen, including Taylor Green, had their personal loans forgiven.
According to the data, a total of $183,504 was forgiven, which included both the accrued interest and the whole $182,300 loan. According to the data, the assistance provided in April 2020 was primarily used for payroll.
