Man Pleads Guilty to Hate-Motivated Threats Against a U.S. Member of Congress

News -- April 19, 2022: The United States Department of Justice announced in a press release a Florida man pled guilty in federal court today to threatening a member of the United States House of Representatives. The statement was made by Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg for the Middle District of Florida.

Tennessee Human Trafficking Investigation Leads to Arrest of 8 Men

WASHINGTON, D.C. --  April 13, 2022: The FBI announced Monday a federal jury found an off-duty Virginia police officer guilty of charges today for his acts during and after the invasion of the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His and others' activities caused a snarl in a joint session of the United States Congress that was convened to determine and tally electoral votes in the presidential election.
