Asheville -- September 2, 2025: Asheville Police Department Press Release: Asheville Police arrested two men on drug trafficking charges early Tuesday in west Asheville. APD officers responded to the 30 block of Cordova Street around 12:20 a.m. on September 2 to conduct a welfare check on a report of two men who appeared to be unconscious inside a parked vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex,
Upon arrival, officers located a parked vehicle matching the description with two men, later identified as Travis Daniel Fowler (02/19/1997) and Jacob Lloyd Holt (07/05/1991), asleep inside with drug paraphernalia visible. Officers were able to awaken and make contact with the occupants by knocking on the window. During the arrest, Fowler and Holt were found to be in possession of 13g of Fentanyl, and they were taken into custody without incident. Arrested:Travis Daniel Fowler (02/19/1997)(F) T
