Rutherford County -- October 5, 2025: On March 29, 2025, deputies went to a home on Ozzie Drive in Bostic, North Carolina, to look into a death.
Later, the body was taken for an autopsy to find out what caused the death. Investigators got the autopsy report on September 29, 2025, and it said that the person died from an overdose of fentanyl.Chad Ledbetter was named as a suspect during the investigation.
