Asheville Police Arrest Man For Arson

Around 8:22 a.m. on August 20, the Asheville Fire Department first arrived on the scene of a structure fire on Park Lane Avenue. When they arrived on the scene, they found a mobile home trailer completely gutted by fire. Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time, and no injuries were recorded.Fire investigators concluded that the fire was "man-made" after doing an investiation. Officers charged Jacob Shelly Porter (born October 26, 1997) with second-degree arson and burning persona
