Asheville Police Step Up Patrols for 'Operation Crash Reduction'

Asheville -- October 7, 2025: The Asheville Police Department (APD) is joining law enforcement agencies across North Carolina this week to support "Operation Crash Reduction," a major traffic safety initiative coordinated by the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program (NCGHSP).
The campaign runs from Monday, October 6th, through Sunday, October 12, 2025.
