Buncombe County -- September 22, 2025: Press Release Buncombe County Sheriff's Office: Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office are investigating two separate burglaries that happened in the Candler community.
At approximately 10:45 PM on Monday, August 18, 2025, patrol deputies responded to the area of Jack Lane and Ridge Street in reference to a burglary that occurred. Deputies were told three armed individuals forced entry into the residence, physically restrained two of the occupants, and stole several pieces of property. At approximately 10:27 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025, deputies responded to the area of Hemlock Court in reference to a burglary that occurred. Deputies were again told that th
