Buncombe County -- October 2, 2025: A key phase of Western North Carolina’s largest infrastructure endeavor is complete, as the new permanent Blue Ridge Parkway bridge over Interstate 26 is now open to traffic.
The opening, after years of construction, is a critical step that allows the N.C.
