Buncombe County -- December 8, 2025: Three Buncombe County paramedics have been honored for their roll in an emergency call where they showed exceptional performance as first responders.
Paramedics Archie Steel and Faith Crawford, and Community Paramedic Matt Conlin, were surprised and delighted to receive Mission Hospital’s Call of the Quarter Award. This award is given to first responders who show outstanding skills, teamwork, and professionalism during a critical situation.
