Haywood County -- The Haywood County Government announced the following on social media: Our nurses are ready for anything — and we mean anything. Thanks to funding from the state of North Carolina’s Hurricane Helene Essential Functions Support grant for post-storm response, our Public Health Nursing team at Haywood Health and Human Services now have sleek new go bags stocked with lifesaving gear, including:
AED – Jump-start a heart and keep it ticking. Glucometers – Quick blood sugar checks, anytime, anywhere.Blood Pressure Kits – Because we like to keep things under pressure… in a good way.Thermometers – Hot or not? We’ll know in seconds.Pulse Oximeters – Oxygen levels?
