Asheville -- October 19, 2025: The nightly closures started last night (Sunday, October 19) and are necessary to safely remove segments of the old bridge located directly over interstate traffic. The operation is scheduled to run from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights.
