Asheville -- September 3, 2025: After months of uncertainty following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, a favorite local restaurant is poised for a grand return. Ichiban Japanese Restaurant has announced its new location at 34 Tunnel Road, the former site of the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
Cracker Barrel closed its Asheville location permanently in the wake of the extensive damage caused by the storm and subsequent flooding.
