Town of Lake Lure -- Great News For the Town of Lake Lure! The Town Government shared the information on Social Media Friday!Dated March 29, 2026: Lake Lure is on the Rise! The current lake level is about 985 Mean Sea Level (MSL), 4.5 feet below full pond which is 990.5 MSL. Crews from the North Carolina State Mission Assigned Recovery Task (SMART) Program are working around the lake to help us remove any remaining debris and beautify the shoreline.
