Marion Man Charged with Meth Possession

55-year-old Roger Keith Hoover of Marion has been charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He was denied bond due to already being out on pretrial release. On September 23, Detective Smith was assisting the N.C. State Highway Patrol with a license check-point on Nix Creek Road when Hoover was stopped. He was found to have outstanding warrants against him.With the assistance of MCSO K9 Hiko, detectives found a suspected amount of methamphetamine after the vehicle and Hoover were searche
