Mitchell County Animal Rescue Closed for Holiday Season, Donations Appreciated

Our shelter is empty. No dogs, no cats, no puppies, no kittens, no goats, no hamsters…But it is not quiet! We are under construction this holiday season! Work on our floors has begun, which means kennels, cages, brooms, buckets, food bowls, litter boxes, cleaning supplies, towels, blankets, leashes, toys, and more have been moved into the office space.It feels so strange here with no animals, but they will have a much nicer up-to-code floor when we reopen in late December.Our building needs quit
