North Carolina -- December 19, 2025: The NASCAR community and the state of North Carolina are in mourning following a catastrophic plane crash Thursday morning that claimed the lives of racing legend Greg Biffle, his family, and three others.
At approximately 10:15 a.m. on December 18, 2025, a Cessna C550 Citation business jet registered to Biffle’s company, GB Aviation Leasing, crashed shortly after takeoff from Statesville Regional Airport.
