North Carolina -- October 13, 2025: A major milestone in modernizing the North Carolina Judicial Branch has been acheived as the final set of counties transitions to the digital court system known as eCourts.
With this final phase, every one of the state's 100 counties now has access to this transformative, cloud-hosted platform for court records and services. This statewide completion builds on the success of earlier tracks, including the implementation in 11 western North Carolina counties in July of 2024, which first brought digital court records to that region to expand access to justice.The Final Transition 📅The completion of this massive project comes as the final group of 13 counties official
