Raligh -- October 17, 2025: North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson has filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to recover more than $150 million in federal funding that was abruptly canceled for the state's "Solar for All" program.
The lawsuit, filed yesterday alongside 22 other states, seeks to restore a total of $7 billion nationwide, with North Carolina's share of over $150 million intended to lower energy costs for thousands of low-income and rural households.
