Asheville -- November 10, 2025; Professional golf is officially making its long-awaited return to Western North Carolina. The PGA TOUR, in partnership with Biltmore Estate and Explore Asheville, announced Monday the debut of a brand-new tournament: the Biltmore Championship in Asheville.
Set to be a highlight of the 2026 FedExCup Fall season, the inaugural tournament will be contested September 17-20, 2026, at the highly-regarded The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Arden, just south of Asheville. The four-year agreement secures a significant, high-profile sporting event for the region.Jack Nicklaus-Designed CourseThe Jack Nicklaus-designed course at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove will serve as the spectacular backdrop, nestled amidst the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. This marks Asheville’s
