Sawin County -- November 6, 2025: The Swain County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred this morning on Hyatt Creek Road near the intersection of Walker Woody Road.
The incident has resulted in at least one serious injury and has prompted an extensive search for a suspect. One person injured,. One person was injured in the incident.
