Buncombe County -- November 7, 2025: Press Release Buncombe County Government: Residents are invited to share their vision for the Swannanoa Small Area Plan. The Swannanoa Steering Committee—a dedicated group of 13 local volunteers—has been working with the community to shape a shared vision for the future of Swannanoa. Using feedback from recent public input, the committee has drafted a Vision Statement that it hopes reflects the community’s aspirations and priorities.
A new poll invites residents to review the draft Vision, provide feedback, and share their thoughts on what areas should be prioritized in the Swannanoa Small Area & Resilience Plan.
