YMCA of WNC Joins Nationwide Effort with Reach & Rise Mentoring Program

This initiative connects youth in the WNC region with caring adult role models, leveraging a nationally recognized, evidence-based model to promote mental well-being and positive life outcomes.A Program with Proven National ImpactReach & Rise is not a local invention, but a therapeutic mentoring model developed by the YMCA of San Francisco in 1992 and expanded nationally in 2012. It is now hosted in 11 states and has served over 10,000 youth nationwide.Evidence-Based Approach: Reach & Ri
