Asheville -- September 25, 2025: Asheville Hockey League: Family Friendly Asheville Announced the following on social media: After almost more than a year without a home rink following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, the Asheville Hockey League (AHL) is proud to announce its return — and with it, a brand-new chapter for skating in Asheville.
This fall, the AHL will launch its youth inline hockey season at a newly available skating rink in the RAD, offering a space not only for hockey but for the roller skating community. The rink, which the league and owner of the property will rent for events, will also host public skate nights with a live DJ, birthday parties, and special events in partnership with local skate groups.“This isn’t just about hockey — it’s about bringing people together again,” said Justin Kaiser, Youth Commissioner
