CHARLOTTE, N.C. – PRESS RELEASE July 31, 2020 Western North Carolina US Attorney's Office Department of Justice: Alexander Samuel Smith, 32, of Waxhaw, N.C., was sentenced to 60 months in prison late yesterday, for making a false statement to the FBI, announced Andrew Murray, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.
