Toby was reunited with his owners yesterday. Wnctimes helped spread the word yesterday to get Toby home.

We want to thank all those who helped in the search for Toby. Especially those who went out and searched on the ground.

We also want to thank those who run the Finding My Way Home Face Book Group. People are frantic when their pets are lost or stolen. You give so much emotional support when people need it, you help reunite pets with their owners, and are there when owners face heartache.

UPDATE:

Night 5 of Toby being lost? Our hearts are so heavy. We are hurting so badly, but are trying to remain hopeful. We love you Toby baby and miss our family of 3 more than anything in the world. ❤️

******IF YOU SEE TOBY, PLEASE DONT CALL OR WHISTLE, DONT TRY TO LURE TOBY TO YOU, DONT MAKE ANY SOUND, AND PLEASE DONT APPROACH OR RUN TOWARD TOBY!! He will run further away from strangers so PLEASE DONT CALL OUT HIS NAME especially out of a moving vechile. This will make him scared and/or make him confused on which direction to go as you are in a traveling vehicle. If spotted, please call us immediately and we will come as quickly as possible. Just keep your eyes peeled ?please

Jon and I truly appreciate everyone in Maggie Valley and the kindness we have been shown. Thank you to all the neighbors for letting us trespass on their property and for everyone looking for our sweet boy. Thank you to all the local Maggie Valley businesses for being so kind and putting Toby’s flyer up. Thank you to Joanne D Brosz for making 400 more flyers, for laminating them, and for helping put them up. Thank you to my parents and aunt for driving here and helping too. We are beyond grateful. We are trying everything we can to spread awareness that way people are on the look out for Toby. So PLEASE share this, tell your family, your neighbor, everyone!!!

We were convinced that Toby was at Waters Edge Mobile Home RV park Monday night after 6 people saw Toby’s picture and said it was him but dirtier than the picture. But we are very disappointed to say that after talking to residents there today, we saw an owner of a white small dog and asked 2 of the 6 people who saw what we thought was Toby if that was the dog they saw Monday night and they confirmed that this was the dog.

So Toby’s last known sighting was Sunday morning at 0830 on Scenic View Road off of Fie Top Road. He had his blue collar on then.

2 more search dogs came out 10/22 starting at the trailer park and according to the search and rescue team the search dog sensed Toby being there and around 19.

We have moved our live traps according to where the rescue organization recommended.

We had a search dog out 10/21 night without success. Thank you Justin Tucker for your time and effort.

And to answer everyone’s questions, we reported him missing the day he went missing. We have been going to the shelter daily. We have made flyers and have put them everywhere. We have put out worn clothing where we are staying and where he was last spotted. We are doing everything we can.
