How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
The ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance, Asheville Humane Society, and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue are working together to launch an initiative to aid in pet owners finding their lost pets.
A thorough lost and found pet website called LostPetsAVL.org (link provided at bottom of page) was developed to make the search and reunion process easier. This joint initiative aims to spread knowledge about the significance of microchipping dogs and offer priceless tools to prevent them from going missing.
All animals entering the Asheville Humane Society, Brother Wolf, and cats and dogs receiving spay/neuter treatments at the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance will be microchipped as part of the program, and they will all be given a "I'm microchipped" tag that is simple to affix to their collar. The tag instructs finders to go to LostPetsAVL.org if a pet disappears. To help finders track down the pet's owner, the website includes a user-friendly map and a directory of businesses and veterinary facilities in Buncombe County that provide free microchip scans.
