With the Covid -19 pandemic continuing to evolve unpredictably and in accordance with state guidance on large gatherings,

the Town of Franklin, NC has made the very difficult decision to cancel the 24th Annual PumpkinFest that was scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2020.

The Franklin Town Council along with other local and state officials have concluded there is too much risk at this time to hold a festival of this size. PumpkinFest is Franklin's largest festival bringing over 8,000 people to downtown Franklin each year. The safety and health of our guests, vendors, partners, and staff are always our first priority and the Town of Franklin felt this was the responsible decision to make.

We realize the economic impact of this cancellation will also be felt deeply throughout the community as PumpkinFest provides much needed revenue for our local retailers, restaurants, hotels and others due to its size. So this decision was not taken lightly.

Information for Vendors:

All vendor fees will be returned to the address provided on your PumpkinFest application. Please allow ample time for the numerous refunds to be processed.
