It’s time for that spooky season, and the WNC Nature Center is celebrating with a virtual costume contest!

It’s time for that spooky season, and the WNC Nature Center is celebrating with a virtual costume contest!

Entering is easy – take a picture of your child and/or family in their Halloween costume and email it to intern@wildwnc.org by Wednesday, November 3. Voting will start on November 7 on the WNC Nature Center Facebook page!

Share your spookiest, most creative, and animal/nature themed costumes, and the winners with the most likes will receive prizes valued at $50 or more!


Halloween BINGO at Harvest House

Thursday, October 28, 3-5 p.m.

Harvest House

FREE

Dress up in your best costume and play BINGO at Harvest House. Prizes will be awarded to BINGO winners and for best costume.

Halloween Drive-Through

Friday, October 29, 6-9 p.m.

Recreation Office

FREE

Join us for our second annual Halloween Drive-Through! This event is open to all ages and abilities, and will feature edible and non-food related items.

Haunted Castle on the Hill

Friday-Saturday, October 29-30, 7-10 p.m.

Stephens-Lee

$2/Person

Looking for a spooky fright this Halloween? There will be plenty of ghost and ghouls and visions of things that go bump in the night at the Haunted Castle on the Hill

Halloween Fun Night and BINGO

Saturday, October 30, 7-9 p.m.

Burton

$4/person

Dress up for the occasion and enjoy the Halloween decorations and play BINGO at the Burton Street Center. Food will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to BINGO winners.

Halloween Boo Fest

Sunday, October 31, 6-8 p.m.

Shiloh

FREE

Come say trick or treat as you walk through the path of sweet goblins and goons.
