Asheville Man Sentenced to Prison

Asheville -- February 16, 2022 On February 10, 2022 Gregory Todd Shelton from Asheville, North Carolina,

was sentenced to 67-93 monthd in prison.

Charges:

Robbery with a dangerous weapon

-Assault by pointing a gun

-Possession of a firearm by a felon

-Larceny of a motor vehicle

The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office worked with the Asheville Police Department and Buncombe County District Attorney's Office to investigate Mr. Shelton and bring him to justice. The investigation spanned more than 10 months.
