South Carolina -– ORANGEBURG COUNTY : December 18, 2022: After nearly a month of being missing, Aspen Jeter, 5, was located reported by the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office on December 9, 2022
Jeter's mother had been discovered deceased. Antar Jeter, her father, was found and accused of being involved in his daughter's mother's murder.
Aspen was also found in the parking lot of a hospital in Danville, Virginia on Friday, according to Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. According to Ravenell, Jeter was apprehended because of financial transactions he conducted on Thursday night.
Antar was also accused of stealing a blue Mazda from 2015, which was a vital piece of evidence.
An arrest warrant states that on November 1, 2018, Jeter murdered Antar Jeter. Her body was discovered on Thanksgiving Day in Orangeburg at her Louise Drive residence. She was fatally shot.
Jeter was seen on video asking for gas money shortly after the shooting, and he was later spotted in Fayetteville, North Carolina, according to the warrant that was posted immediately after the shooting.
