Search Continues for Missing Jackson County Man

Jackson County -- February 20, 2023: The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is
requesting assistance

locating missing person.

It has been almost a year since Aaron Cody Fortner has been missing. Fortner's last known location was at his reisdence, located at 133 Fox Trace Road, Sylva, NC, on Monday, February 21, 2022. He was last believed to be in the area of his residence on that date at approximately 2:20 a.m. There is no known direction or travel.

Fortner also goes by the names Cody Black, Cody Smith, Cody Fortner, and Aaron Winehouse.
