Brevard Police Search for Driver in Hit-and-Run

Brevard --The Brevard Police Department is investigating a pedestrian-involved hit-and-run on Tuesday at 9:34 p.m.

The crash occurred in southbound Asheville Highway lanes in front of Tidal Wave Car Wash. A silver/pewter SUV, likely a Dodge, hit a pedestrian on southbound Asheville Highway. The motorist fled, leaving the pedestrian seriously injured. The victim was sent to a nearby hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information as to the SUV driver should call the Brevard Police Department at 828-883-2212 to speak with a detective.
