Jackson County Man on Probation Faces Drug Charges

Jackson County -- February 21, 2024: Probation officers from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office accompanied an officer on a home visit in Whittier on Saturday.

Following the conclusion of the residence search, detectives and deputies seized a quantity of illicit substances, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and methadone. Detectives and deputies also seized two firearms.

Jason Dean Millsaps was charged with the following:

Felony Possession/With/Intent/Sell/Deliver Schedule II X 3
Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon X2
Maintain Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance
Felony Possession of Schedule VI
Simple Possession of SCH III
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
