How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
Asheville Police Department arrested a man Sunday for assaulting a female at gunpoint yesterday. Guffen Hearst of Georgia, was arrested late Sunday night for pointing a gun at a female in the 100 block of Atkinson Street on Saturday.
He was charged with Assault by Pointing a Gun, Communicating Threats, and Carrying a Concealed Gun.
APD Officers obtained the gun Hearst used during his assault.
Hearst was taken to the Buncombe County Detention Facility and is held on a $20,000 unsecured bond.
