How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
Asheville June 5, 2022: Detectives from the Asheville Police Department are looking into a shooting that occurred in west Asheville on Saturday afternoon and claimed the lives of two people.
At 2:14 p.m. yesterday, APD Patrol Officers were alerted to Bingham Road, where they discovered two people deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Adrian Romero-Valdez and Ahmed Deshawn Shivers, who were shot and killed shortly after 2 p.m. on June 4. The next of kin has been informed.
It does not appear that the occurrence was a random act of violence. TIP2APD has led to the identification of persons of interest, and the investigation is still underway.
In the year 2022, there have been eight homicides in Asheville.
