Woman Missing in Lake Lure Found Safe

Lake Lure -- June 8, 2022: UPDATE: The Lake Lure Police Department have located Jean Redonna Purlee safe. 

Lake Lure -- A woman has gone missing in Lake Lure, North Carolina.  Jean Redonna Purlee has been missing since May 23, 2022. 

According to authorities, Purlee was last seen at a restaurant working with Recovery Ventures Treatment Progra, when she walked away with no money, clothes or provistions.

She has not been seen since, has not contacted family, it is unlike her not to reach out to her children.
