How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
A 911 call about a dispute sent Macoisn County Deputies to a Walnut Creek residence around noon on January 1, 2023.
Deputies identified a man victim at the scene where there had been an altercation.
Upon arrival , the Macon County EMS and Cullasaja First Responders found the victim unresponsivve, he was declared deceased.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Nathan Humphries, husband and father of three children.
The Criminal Investigations Unit arrived and began investigating. The District Attorney assisted at the scene.
An autopsy has been requested.
