Charlotte -- January 9, 2023: An animal rescue group, Fubabies, in North Carolina is looking for a home for a dog abandoned at Charlotte's airport.
After her owner couldn't afford the transport cargo fee

to take the dog, Baby Girl with her, an airline employee notified FurBabies.

Baby Girl's owner, who is visually impaired and on a fixed income, said she left the puppy with Furbabies before flying. She wouldn't have left Baby Girl if the dog wasn't safe.

If Baby Girl wasn't safe, the former owner wouldn't have flown. She would have lived on the streets in North Carolina with her dog.

Fubabies setup a fund for the much needed health care Baby Girl neeeded. People stepped up and now she will be able to be seen by a vet.

The group announced the good news on their Facebook Fubabies Group post Friday

"Baby girl is in a safe, loving foster home and FurBabies has had many offers to provide her a safe and loving forever home.
We will be taking applications and determining exactly who that will be as we get her in to the vet to restore her to health."

WNCTIMES is happy to share this story and we know thanks to caring people like Kevin and Furbabies, Baby Girl will find the perfect loving home she so deserves!
