Asheville -- Apri 17, 2022 :  Asheville Police are seeking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who physically

assaulted another man Monday evening at an area motel on the 100 block of Tunnel Road.

Just before 6 p.m. on April 11, APD officers were summoned to a hotel on Tunnel Road to investigate a fight in progress. The parties had scattered by the time they arrived. The evidence proved that the man in the photo became aggressive with the victim, repeatedly punching him in the head and torso as he attempted to back away from the battle.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 30, with a cross tattoo on his forearm. He was dressed in khaki shorts and a t-shirt. Others on the scene speculated that the man was a construction worker known as "Ant." He was also alleged to have left the property on foot, carrying a red and a black rucksack.

If you have any information about his identity or this case, you can anonymously share information by texting TIP2APD to 847411 (Tip411) or by directly contacting APD at (828) 252-1110.
